17th Century, William III Silver Tazza, London 1699 - By Joseph Sheene
The Tazza/Comport dates from the era of William III and was produced in London 1699. It was produced byJoseph Sheene.
For being over 320 years old, the piece is in very good condition with no apparent repairs. The only noticeable damage is a small dent to the stem and quite a severe lean to Tazza. There is a lean of approximately 5mm. Of course, this can be easily repaired however.

The centre of the top is engraved with a bird of prey, possibly and eagle, holding an anchor is its talon and a cross in its beak. Underneath, the word "perseverando" is engraved.
The Tazza weighs a total of 345g and measures 23cm in diameter on the top, has a base diameter of 9cm and is 7cm in height.
