Early 20th Century, Wrought Iron French Wine Rack / Cage

The wrought iron riveted design is a fantastic early 20th architectural design which can be suited in many homes.

The strap frame cage is dark grey in colour with an oxidised patina. The cage can hold 300 bottles in total with 150 at the front and 150 against the wall.

The lockable gate has an inscription which reads “FER RIGIDE BTE SGDG”.

The condition of the cage is very good with only a little corrosion on the bottom rail, however, the bottom rail is still secure. It can be noticed that there is a slight tilt on the cage in the images, of course this will be straightened out when secured to a wall.

The cage measures 164cm T x 58cm D x 104cm W.
