A classic G Plan Fresco Long John sideboard designed by V.B. Wilkins, one of the most recognisable and sought-after pieces from the Fresco range. Featuring the iconic sculpted teak handles, a bank of drawers, double cupboard storage and the original fitted cutlery drawer with felt liner, this is a superb example of British mid-century furniture design.
The sideboard remains in good vintage condition throughout. There are a couple of scratches to the top surface, mainly around the centre section, as shown in the photographs. The original felt-lined cutlery drawer remains in good condition and the G Plan label is present inside the left-hand cupboard door. The teak colour and grain remain attractive throughout, with only light age-related wear consistent with normal use.
