A lovely Modular oak bookcase by Globe Wernicke from the early 20th Century. Made from dark English oak, it is a beautiful piece. The bookcase consists of 5 glazed units, 1 plain door unit and then a singular drawer base unit.
The bookcase is generally in good condition with only a couple of areas of wear mainly around the lower plain door. One of the glass doors is a little stiff to slide back, but other than what is mentioned, it is in a nice unrestored condition.
The assembled bookcase measures 217cm H x 85cm W x 29cm D. The glass units measure 2 different sizes. The largest of the 2 has an internal dimension of 25cm H x 81cm W x 24cm D. The smallest glass unit has an internal measurement of 23cm H x 81cm W x 20cm D. The lower plain door unit has an internal measurement of 30cm H x 81cm W x 24cm D.
