A mid 20th century chrome & leather reclining lounge chair that has been attributed to both Knoll in the UK/Europe & Selig in the US, however, is unfortunately unmarked. This design of chair is usually found in the US and was manufactured in Italy for American furniture distributor Selig who also retailed pieces by danish designers such as Kofod Larsen and Poul Jensen. Both the chair and the stool features a removable leather seat pad upon a formed chrome frame. The chair has a reclining feature to allow both an upright and near horizontal seating position.

Both the chair and stool are in fantastic condition with nor obvious defects. Of course there is some minor wear and blemishes associated with a piece that has 50 years of age, but nothing substantial. The reclining feature is also smooth and operational.

The chair in its upright configuration measures 94cm D x 75cm W x 85cm H to back x 35cm H to seat. The stool measures 65cm W x 65cm D x 40cm H.
