A lovely little mantel clock by M.H. Tilley & Sons of Dorchester, stamped as so on the face. It is fronted by empire style gilt mounts and topped with a gilt lion.
The clock has recently been serviced so is in great working order, however, there is some tarnishing to some of the gilding. Additionally, it appears that this might have once been on a plinth or a plate as the there are 2 exposed small rods underneath the ball feet. Please see photos for reference. Finally, the name has worn away on the face ever-so slightly.
