A lovely vintage dining set manufactured by A. H. Mcintosh of Kirkaldy in the middle of the 20th century. The dining set consists of 4 dining chairs and extending dining table with the extension folding out from the centre when the leaves are slid apart.

The set is generally in quite good condition with the table exhibiting only some light marks to its surface, some discolouration to the leaves and extensions as well as a small mark to the frame. The majority of the chairs are again in quite good condition, the only defects being that one chair has had the back repaired in the past and has been secured by gluing the back to the frame, evidence of this glue still remains at the rear. The plugs that would hide the screws securing the back to the frame are unfortunately missing on this chair. There is also a plug missing from the rear of another chair but this was likely lost through use rather than anything that would compromise its structure. Additionally, one other chair has a small amount of play to the frame but nothing excessive that would affect its use. In all, the upholstery is in good and clean condition with no tears.

The table measures 158.5cm Extended x 114cm in Diameter when closed x 75.5cm H. The chairs measure 48cm W x 45cm D x 72cm H x 46cm H to seat.
